This Privacy Policy & Notice (the “Policy”) is dated and effective April 6, 2021.

SEGSEU and affiliates respect your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Policy explains the ways in which SEGSEU and affiliates gather information while you use this Website, the ways in which we maintain, use and share that information, and your rights concerning your personal information. It is our goal to collect, use, maintain, protect and disclose personal information in a responsible manner, whether we do so in the context of interacting with visitors to this Website, developing business, providing services and products, or managing our relationships with our tenants, applicants, employees and service providers (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy DOES NOT apply to:

Information which is publicly available, anonymized or aggregated, and other information which is excluded from the scope of applicable privacy laws;

Information that you may provide to us or that we may collect through means other than this Website; and

Information that you provide to or is collected by any third party, including via links on this Website. These third parties, their websites and apps may have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing information on or through them.

We may provide supplemental or updated privacy notices on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing your information. This Policy is not a contract and does not create any contractual rights or obligations.

Categories and Sources of Information

We collect, use and share personal information from various sources to perform the Services and to accomplish our business and commercial purposes and objectives. You may provide us with information in order to use or participate in certain features of this Website or the Services. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a person under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no Internet, electronic operating system or data security system is ever completely secure or error free. We therefore cannot guarantee the security of any information. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures. By using the Website, you assume the risk of such occurrences. We request that you do not send, and we will not be liable for your sending, sensitive or confidential information electronically. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.

California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”)

Consumers who are residents of the state of California have the right to make the following requests (no more than twice in any 12 month period) in connection with your “Personal Information” as defined by the CCPA:
  • Right to Know – You have the right to request to know what Personal Information we collect, use, disclose and (if applicable) sell about you, for what business purpose, from what sources, and with which third parties;
  • Right to Delete – Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request that we delete any Personal Information about you that we may hold. We may have grounds to deny your deletion request as provided under the CCPA.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale of Personal Information – You have the right to opt out of the sale of your Personal Information. A&E does not sell your Personal Information.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination – You have the right not to be discriminated against because you exercised any of your rights to know, delete or opt-out of the sale of your Personal Information.
In accordance with the CCPA, only you or your legally authorized agent may make a request related to your personal information. Your request must (1) provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information or are an authorized representative, and (2) describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate and respond to it. We cannot respond to your request if we cannot verify your identify or authority to make the request and confirm the requested Personal Information relates to you. Making a request does not require you to create an account with us. We will do our best to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.
