How It’s Done: Curating a Gallery Wall
02/10/2014

We’ve made our list, checked it twice, and now we’re wondering—what’s on yours?
With the Christmas countdown officially on—three more days!—we checked in with our friend Jess Ann Kirby to see what she’s hoping to find under the tree.
A Rhode Island-based fashion and lifestyle blogger, Jess has been making us jealous for weeks with shots of snowy New England beaches, serious sweater game, and some very festive pups (her rescue dogs, Fuji and Nora, are fan favorites on Instagram). This year is especially merry for Jess and her partner, Craig, as they’re preparing to spend the holiday in their first home together.
“We’re so excited—we can’t wait to start traditions in our new space,” she tells us. “I’ve been going crazy all week wrapping up a ton of presents for the animals.”
Sounds like someone deserves to be on the nice list.

“We’re right here on the water in Rhode Island, and winters can be brutal. A big, comfy scarf is essential—not only is this one warm, but it’s an outfit-maker. And if the weather is more mild, you could just wear it as a wrap.”

“High waist, ankle hem, straight leg: all of my favorite things rolled into one pair of jeans. I’m really loving straight-legs right now—they look great with booties and are flattering on everyone.”

“Christmas morning is going to be so great this year. Craig will probably cook a big breakfast, then we’ll bundle up and take the dogs for a nice long walk to get some fresh air. This cardigan would be perfect—it’s basically a hug in the form of a sweater, and I need it.”

“We’re going to Costa Rica after New Year’s. We went there 10 years ago for our first trip as a couple, and we’re so excited to go back, explore a different part of the country together, and do some surfing. This one-piece would be perfect.”
