Choosing the Right Monthly Parking Garage
If you’re on this page you probably just made a big life change. Most people looking for monthly parking just moved or changed jobs. In a situation like that, parking your car is the last thing you want to worry about.
Costs
Our guess is that you’re also frustrated. Monthly parking can be a big investment and you want to do it right, but there are hardly any resources on the internet that tell you what you really want to know.

How much should monthly parking cost in your city? Is there one place that lists all the monthly parking options near you? Are there any tricks for getting discounted rates? Where do you even start?
Guide
Finding and booking monthly parking can seem overwhelming at first, but if you see the steps written out the task becomes much more manageable. We did that for you here, so you can treat this section like a to-do list.

Before you get started, we wanted to give you a heads up that there are two different paths you can take to find your monthly parking spot. One option (THE FAST TRACK) is a lot quicker than the other (THE OLD FASHIONED WAY), which is more involved on your end. We’ll outline both below, so you can make your decision and get yourself a monthly parking spot.
Step 01
What do you need?

This step is all about you. Take a minute to figure out what is most important to you in your monthly parking spot. How do you know what to look for if you don’t know what you want? Here are some things to consider:

Location
Facility hours
In-and-out privileges
Covered or uncovered facility
Heated or unheated facility
Step 02
Learn what’s out there

We want to make sure you know about some important differentiators within monthly parking spots you may not have thought of before. We’ll list them out here:

Some operators will charge extra for oversized or ‘exotic’ vehicles
If you have an electric vehicle, make sure the facility has EV charging
At valet facilities, an attendant will park your car for you, which can lead to longer wait times
Some facilities have minimum stay requirements, usually 3 or 6 months
You may need a key fob or access card, which you will likely have to purchase
Step 03
Prepare a plan

Once you’ve done some research into what’s out there, make a list of your top choices, with contact information for the operator. You’ll work your way down this list in priority order.
Step 04
Compare your options

Start with a quick Google search for monthly parking in your city. You’ll likely see monthly parking options from at least 4 or 5 parking operators.
