The National Venue Guide is more rigid and structured than the regular BizBash magazine, and is meant to be a reference book that planners can use to easily find information about all of the major cities in the United States. The most important thing is that it is clear and easy to use.
It is the largest issue, and each year must have a different look and feel not only from the regular magazine, but also from the year before. I work with the Art Director to develop the look and feel, design the entire book, and retouch all images. In the 2010 issue, cities were differentiated by vertical tabs on each page, and different color pallets. The same font families were used as in the regular magazine, but in different weights. A digital edition of the 2010 National Venue Guide can be seen here.
